Kimberley Sasan - Minister

Kimberley has dedicated her life to building God’s church in a professional capacity since 2001. In the past 20 years, she has served in various areas of ministry including women’s ministry, prayer ministry, hospitality ministry, vocalist, worship director, event coordinator, church administrator and manager, guest speaker, Bible study teacher, missionary, pastoral leadership, and consultant. Particularly gifted in leadership and speaking, she has had the privilege of ministering both nationally and internationally in settings from large conferences to small home gatherings. Whether she was speaking to a crowd of hundreds, or mentoring a friend over a cup of coffee, Kimberley’s ability to communicate God’s Word and her love for people have marked her life.

Born and raised in Southern California, the daughter of a pastor, she grew up in the Church. She watched the constant example of her parents living their lives to serve and love others, and demonstrating what it means to have your life’s devotion be preaching God’s Word. She knew from an early age that she too wanted to dedicate her life to loving people and serving God’s Church.

While at college in California, she was part of a thriving campus ministry through which she took every opportunity to minister. From international mission trips to leading the campus worship band, her enthusiasm for reaching people with a message of faith grew all the more. Worship became a passion of hers during these years, and leading others to experience God’s presence and love through worship continues to be a large part of her ministry.

A year after Kimberley obtained a BA in Communication Studies from California State University at Long Beach, she married her first love, Shea, and they jumped right into ministry life. They attended a six month seminary program in conjunction with Fuller Seminary and then moved internationally to Manila, Philippines, where they started their ministry together. From Manila, they moved to Jacksonville, Florida, where she furthered her career in ministry by taking a full-time job at a large church. When their first daughter was born, they headed back to Southern California to be near family.

Being back home in Southern California brought her even more opportunities for ministry. She continued to serve by speaking at conferences, producing women’s events, leading worship at churches throughout Orange County, and participating in church planting. As the path of ministry grew even broader in her life, she was offered an administrative management role in a prominent local church. In 2019, God led her and her family to Shea’s childhood home in the Pacific Northwest. Word of their move prompted the local community church to offer her an administrative position upon arrival, which she developed into a staff ministry role. She continues to serve at Orcas Island Community Church and has begun consulting for smaller churches and growing outreach ministries.

Currently, together with their three lovely daughters, Kimberley and Shea live in a little seaside town on Orcas Island, WA. They enjoy the beauty of the Pacific Northwest and the opportunity to be near their extended family. And whether it’s leading a Sunday morning worship service or cooking a meal for a friend in her home, you’ll find Kimberley serving and encouraging others with great love and joy. It is her passion to live out her life-long commitment to glorify God and to communicate the truth of God’s Word, the power of His love, and the life of faith we can experience when we’re in relationship with Him.
